The Physics department took a group of six lower sixth students to the All Party Parliamentary Engineering Group lunch at the House of Lords on Wednesday.
Harry Baston-Hall, Alexander Glover, Jacob de Jongh, Peter Wan, Kevin Yuan and Robert Zhang, engaged in conversation over lunch with lords, MPs, industry leaders and fellow students from across the country.
A post-lunch question and answer session followed, on the subject of the 2018 Year of Engineering. Topics discussed included equality in STEM subjects, studying engineering at university, and the wide range of fields engineers can work in, from railways to video games.
The students had a wonderful day and were a great credit to the school.
