We were delighted to welcome Olympic rower and World Champion winner Debbie Bruwer to Sixth Form Chapel this week. Debbie shared honestly about both the successes and setbacks of her sporting career, alongside the story of her faith journey. Her reflections on resilience, and perseverance were truly inspiring, and our students clearly found her message both inspirational and encouraging.
Since retiring from elite sport, Debbie has gone on to work in the Prison Service, with Christians Against Poverty, as well as serving as an Elite Ambassador for Christians in Sport.
We are so grateful to Debbie for giving her time and sharing such a powerful and authentic message with our Sixth Form students.
