Studying Electronics gives students the opportunity to learn a subject rarely taught in schools and one that stands out on a CV. Former Abingdon students who have gone on to study Engineering report that GCSE Electronics provided a strong foundation for their first year at university, and it also offers an excellent basis for studying Computing at A Level. The course is taught through a hands-on, practical approach, with each student provided with their own breadboard, power supply and components to develop skills both in school and at home. This engaging method is popular with students and is reflected in our excellent results.
