The aim of the Drama Department is to instil in our students a life-long enjoyment of drama. We are incredibly fortunate to have two drama studios, a dedicated technical team and use of the Amey Theatre for productions. Throughout the First and Second Years, students are taught key principles including physical theatre, improvisation, and significant genres helping them to develop essential transferable skills such as collaboration and creative thinking. Students can opt to study for GCSE and A Level, engaging with practitioners like Stanislavski and rehearsing scripted texts.
