A group of Lower Sixth physics students attended a lecture at the University of Oxford Physics Department last week. The lecture, given by Prof James Dunlop from the University of Edinburgh, was titled ‘First Light: The Dawn of Stars and Galaxies’ and explored the scientific advancements of the James Webb Space Telescope. The students recognised many of the ideas from their lessons on astrophysics before half term!
