Last weekend, the Abingdon Go Club went on its first ever excursion, with nine students from the senior school and one from Abingdon Prep entering the London Youth Go Tournament. For most of them this was their first experience of playing in a tournament. There were some tough opponents but everyone played well and learnt a lot from the competition. Clarence (Y6 APS) won four of his 5 games and was awarded a prize. Oscar (4th Year) played amongst the strongest group but just missed out on a top 3 position. Well done to all involved.
