Last week the swimming team had yet another successful day, this time in a friendly gala against Harrow. The seniors, as is now becoming a habit, managed to break their 3rd relay record of the season – this time the medley. On top of this, both Can Tugcetin and Ethan Richards-Knight had outstanding individual swims, breaking records in the 50 breast and 50 fly. Unfortunately, due to some absences, the intermediates were not able to put out a full team so, in order to fill the gap, junior swimmers swam up an age group. They all swam extremely well. A special mention must go to Enoch Wang, who was representing the school for the first time. It was great to see that even with Harrow’s larger array of swimmers, Abingdon only narrowly lost, yet again proving our might in the pool.
