Abingdon took on Harrow and Merchant Taylors’ School for a place in the National Shield Finals in Nottingham. We fielded a formidable team of Nikhil Vyas, Will Taylor, James Munday, Alex d’Arcy, Felix Loeffen and Jai Biswas Gladwin. All the boys played outstanding squash, and we beat both schools by a large margin. We have therefore qualified for the finals, which take place on 20 March; we look forward to going one better than our position last year as runners-up!
