In the first match of the year, the squash team played at home to Stowe. There were some excellent battles, especially Will’s 3-2 victory at 2nd string, and overall Abingdon emerged as winners by 5 matches to three. It was particularly good to see Charlie, Callum and Ollie winning on their debuts.
The following Saturday, we travelled to North Oxford to meet old rivals St Edward’s. There was some good squash on display, but overall Abingdon were too strong and every player won their match 3-0, including Ed making his debut for the team.
