On 9 March, Abingdon’s U16 badminton team of James Moreton-Smith, Perry Tsai, Jate Jaturanpinyo and Anthony Xie won a silver medal at the National Schools Championship Regional Finals in Guildford. There were many great performances on the day, but the highlight was beating Sevenoaks School, whose captain is the current U17 European Champion. This victory allowed Abingdon to go through to the Gold medal match where they narrowly lost out to Reading School. Many congratulations to all the team.
