A crack team of ASP Science Ambassadors has volunteered for a special mission at this year's Abingdon ATOM Festival of Science and Technology.

They are being specially trained by Dr Jenny Turner (aka NitroJen) of Bright Sparks Science in the art of Science Busking. At the first training session, they tried out a few ideas for engaging passers-by through simple, but intriguing demonstrations with interesting scientific explanations.

The second training session will take place in then ASP's nerve centre, the Partnership Lab, on Wednesday 13 March when existing members of the team hope to be joined by a few more willing volunteers.

If you want to see what Science Buskers do, they will be performing at the ATOM Science Market in the town square between 10am to 3pm on Saturday 23 March and at the Family Science Fair in the Yang Science Centre from 11am to 3pm on Sunday 24 March.
