1st VII at Colston’s Sevens tournament
The poor weather postponed the pre-half term 7s competitions so our 1st VII took part in their first outing this season at Colston's School U18 Rugby 7s. They got off to a flier beating King’s Bruton 21-14. The second match was against a strong Kirkham Grammar losing 29-0. The fatigue kicked in during the third game against Bristol Grammar with the team playing well but losing 29-5. The team were 3rd out of 4 in the pool, so went into the Bowl Competition and won the semi-final. A good day in rainy conditions. The team look forward to Surrey 7s on Wednesday 13 March at Richmond RFC.
U12 VII at Caldicott Prep Sevens festival
The U12 VII had their first outing of the season at the Caldicott Prep School 7s. Known as arguably the best run and highest standard prep school competition in the region, our boys had a day of competitive, tough matches against very good opposition. Huge levels of development and lots of learning throughout the day, the boys enjoyed their experience.
U15 VII at Solihull School Sevens tournament
The U15s were invited to the Solihull School 7s and were superb. Their approach to matches, camaraderie and effort was awesome. And on a windy rainy day the positive mindset was immense. Undefeated in their group of seven schools, the team progressed to the semi-finals losing to a better team on the day. This tournament is nationally recognised as one of the best in England. The boys have developed so much and will take much confidence from the day, the results and the way they approached the matches.

The King’s School, Worcester: won 26-0
King Edward’s School, Birmingham: won 29-0
