On Wednesday evening, the Amey Theatre came alive with the thunderous energy of the music department’s annual Rock Concert. Student bands from Abingdon School, Fitzharrys and John Mason School took to the stage, delivering a thrilling mix of music from artists including Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Elton John and Radiohead. Each act performed with real energy to a near-capacity audience, while the student comperes kept the crowd engaged between acts. In the headline spot was ‘Cheap Suits’, a band featuring one of our Heads of School, Felix, and James, who performed a set of original songs from their recently released EP ‘Kiss Up’. Congratulations to all the performers, and a sincere thank you to the Amey Theatre Technical Team for their outstanding work in staging the event.
