Last weekend, the school Rifle Club attended a competition at the national shooting centre in Bisley to compete in one of the country's largest school shooting competitions. The format of the day was unlimited practice shots followed by 20 shots 'to count'. The boys performed well and posted respectable scores considering the little amount of practice we managed. Overall the school placed 7th out of 62 competing teams and Noah Keighley, 2nd year, won his age category with a score of 179.02 out of 200.
Other scores were:
Senior Pairs
James Hogge and Drew Farwell – 378.10 (7th)
Anthony Yang and Will Shorrocks – 370.08 (24th)
Junior Pairs
Ben MacLennan and Noah Keighley – 358.02 (19th)
Senior Fours
James Hogge, Drew Farwell, Anthony Yang and Will Shorrocks – 748.18 (6th)
