Last week, the athletics club took part in their first event of the season at Radley College. This was a fantastic event to open the season with multiple relay events enabling a large group of students to take part from Year 7 through to Year 13. It gave a fantastic opportunity for some of the experienced runners to take part in the first event of the year whilst also giving us the opportunity for some of the Lower School to take part in their first ever event.
Overall it was a huge success with several teams winning their respective relays. The highlight most definitely was the final three medley races being won by Abingdon teams. We scored 15 points across the races meaning we finished in first place.
