Last Saturday, 8 pupils travelled to the London Aquatics centre to compete in the National IAPS Swimming Finals. The U12 and U13 teams did tremendously well to qualify amongst the fastest 20 schools in the country. Both teams had a fantastic finals day, knocking 6 and 7 seconds off the qualifying times, with the U12s finishing in 13th place and the U13s finishing in 15th place.
Satoshi also reached the final of the U13 50m butterfly, placing in a remarkable 5th place in a time of 30.79s. Leone reached the final of the U12 50m freestyle and placed a superb 6th place in a time of 29.57s. On Sunday, Arthur travelled to Dorset and backed up his strong medley relay performance with an impressive 5th place in the National Schools Biathle Competition. Well done to all involved.
