Bake off at Abingdon Prep raises over £400 for charity
Budding bakers have been working hard this week preparing delectable delights for Abingdon Prep’s Great Baking Challenge. As well as raising much needed funds for the school’s nominated charities (The Oxford Food Hub and Soundabout), entrants were hoping their cookies and cakes might also win them a much coveted spot in the final bake off show down (to be held later this term).
Entries were judged on cooking technique, taste, consistency and presentation (step aside Paul Hollywood!). Well done to all those who took part, helping to raise money and also to facilitate a delicious but difficult morning for the judges.
