On Monday, the playground was buzzing with excitement as we held the highly anticipated Phoenix House Sweet Sale in aid of the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary (O.A.S.). After weeks of perusing the mouth-watering list of treats on offer, pupils arrived ready to spend, eventually departing with wide smiles and bags brimming with goodies. Our senior section volunteers did an admirable job managing the ‘mountain’ of sweets, serving every customer with a cheerful attitude and impressive upselling skills! Thanks to this incredible Phoenix team effort, we raised a whopping £351.50 for O.A.S. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and pupils who volunteered their time, the children who supported the cause with their purchases, and of course, the Phoenix parents, whose generous donations made the event possible. Your support is truly appreciated and helps to make these special events such a success.
