Year 7 has been studying the story of Cain and Abel in their RE classes. The boys have been thinking about how people are punished for their crimes and what the four aims of punishment are. After gathering information, sharing facts and having break out room discussions, Year 7 held a class debate on zoom to discuss the notion: ‘The UK should bring back the death penalty for murder’.
The boys held a wide range of views and were very receptive to each other’s opinions.
