Last week, a number of our students who are studying Chinese attended a Peking opera workshop. Given by two native Chinese performers, students were taught about the characters in the opera and the unique roles they play. Music and singing was demonstrated, followed swiftly by examples of the typical movements the characters would make and our students were given the chance to have a go too!
