On Wednesday Abingdon hosted Aylesbury, RGS High Wycombe and Bradfield in the National Schools tournament. The team consisted of Nikhil Vyas, Will Taylor, James Munday, Alex d’Arcy, Felix Loeffen and Josh Ponting.

It was an exciting afternoon of high quality squash, played in excellent spirit by all the boys. Aylesbury are one of the top sides in the country, and they won the group in style. Abingdon defeated Bradfield comfortably, which meant that the play off was against RGS.

It was a very close game, but in the end we were narrowly edged out. It was an excellent experience for all our players, and we look forward to matching or even exceeding our success in the National Shield next term.
