Abingdon School has signed up to Surfers Against Sewage ‘Million Mile Clean’. As part of this year’s whole school biennial sponsored walk, Abingdon students joined 100,000 volunteers nationally in cleaning 10 miles each, the equivalent of a million mile clean. With over half of the UK population seeing more plastic on UK beaches than wildlife, students from the School’s Eco-Committee and Green Gym Other Half clubs are keen to do their part to protect the environment from the growing problem of plastic pollution.
