The annual Lower School Challenge took place on the last day of term. After year group finals in featuring teams from all 6 tutor groups, 1C (Josh Bromley, Benedict Donald and Barnaby Hill) were declared first year winners, while 2G (Henry Drake, Jack Veal and Alexander Woolmer) were triumphant in the second year. The two teams then took each other on in the grand final and were put to the test with some fiendishly difficult questions devised by quizmaster Mr May. Both teams showed impressive knowledge (although only the Lower School Housemaster knew that the sound effect of tie fighters was made using an elephant call!) but 2G were a little faster on the buzzer and were declared the overall winners.
