As part of the National Poetry Day celebrations, Abingdon’s Literary Society welcomed poet and literary critic Camille Ralphs to speak with Sixth Form students. Ralphs, who is also the poetry editor at the Times Literary Supplement, shared insights from her journey as a writer and read from her latest collection, After You Were, I Am (2024). She provided valuable perspectives on both the creative process and the realities of earning a living as a writer, offering an inspiring and informative session for all in attendance.
