The Lower School tutor groups have been competing in the annual chess competition for the last two weeks. Following a very competitive first round, the first year champions 1C (Joe Kerrigan, Zen Senathirajah and Harish Sivakumar) took on second year winners 2M (Alparslan Abdurrazak, James Darbishire, and Harrison Wong) in the grand final. Despite some valiant battling by the younger team, 2M proved too strong for them and have won the trophy this year.
