The Hockey Club had another busy week. The U12s played in the county championships, winning 2/3 games. With great results vs New College and Bloxham, it means the boys will be off to the regional finals in March.

They are joined by the U14s who won 3/4 games at their county championships on Friday. With some excellent play and grit at the right times, the U14s progress to their regional finals in March too.

The 1st XI continued their successful cup run with a 6-1 win vs Pangbourne, they go on to face Sir William Borlase’s next Wednesday in the 3rd round.

The Lower School put out 4 teams vs The Dragon, the stand out result here was the U13Bs who played some scintillating hockey, winning 3-0.

Saturday’s block fixture was a tough one against Magdalen College School, the U14s and U15s had some close games, but unfortunately both A and B teams couldn’t muster a win. The U16s played and competed in both matches against a strong MCS outfit.

The seniors recorded some emphatic wins, both the 1st XI and the 3rd XI continue their unbeaten run winning 4-1 and 3-2 respectively. The performance of the day goes to the 2nd XI who have really come together over the past fortnight. With some great team work and linking play they won 5-1.

Overall an excellent week, the U12s, U13s and U14s are all through to the regional finals and the 1st XI continue their cup run. Well done and thank you to all involved.
