On Saturday, six rowers headed to Boston, Lincolnshire for the first round of the GB Rowing water assessments. Rowers raced over 5km in a single in a huge field of over 200 scullers. This was the first chance of the season for our rowers to put in an individual performance against the best rowers in the country.

Some really positive performances and lots of experience gained across the racing by James, Lucas, Ed, Oli and Will, with a special mention to current Captain of Boats Eddie on finishing in 11th place.

The rowers will now complete a couple of ergo assessments before heading back to Boston in February to race in pairs.
