Performance of the day must go to the U14 Ds with their 2-1 victory over Wellingborough U14 Bs whilst the U14 Bs lost 1-3 to Wellingborough As. The U15 Ds battled well against tough opposition in Wellingborough U15 Bs, whilst the U15 Bs played some good football despite their 0-2 defeat to Wellingborough U15 As.

Over at Cox’s Field the 5th XI lost 0-4 to Radley College on this occasion, whilst the 4th XI missed a number of opportunities in their 0-2 defeat. The 1st XI found themselves ahead twice with goals from Jack Heath and Jasper Rolls but let Wellingborough back into the game as they were pegged back and the game in the balance at 2-2. A fine Jasper Rolls free kick mid-way through the second half secured a deserved victory for Abingdon, 3-2 the final score.
