Circus skills combined with physics and fun as the Flying Atoms show came to the Amey Theatre following a national tour which included the Edinburgh Fringe. Professors Gusto and Hitch, assisted by Professor Dotty, explained ideas about atoms and forces using dance and flying trapeze stunts, to a public audience of nearly 200 on Thursday evening. This was followed by a Friday morning show for 300 primary school children from the Abingdon Ogden Trust Primary Science Partnership schools, St Edmund's, Caldecott, Long Furlong, Thomas Reade and Dunmore. Thirty lucky pupils then took part in a science and circus workshop with the professors, before enjoying a special buffet lunch in the Yang Science Centre. The event was another successful collaboration between the Abingdon Science Partnership and our partner organisations, Science Oxford and the Ogden Trust.
