Two teams of Fourth Year students completed their Bronze DofE Assessment expedition on the River Medway in Kent. Excitement was had on the many canoe shoots, except perhaps for the pair who unfortunately capsized at the end of day 1. They were swiftly and safely rescued by staff and other team members and remained in high spirits.
Of particular note was that both groups participated in paddle UK’s Big River Clean-up where they litter-picked nearly 30km of the stretch. Well done all.
