As part of Abingdon’s Other Half programme a group of Fourth Year students have tackled some A Level or undergraduate level chemistry and taken their chance to use some impressive pieces of equipment. On Tuesday they had their chance to learn about the origin of colour in transition metals and to see the colour of the complexes using a UV-Vis spectrometer.
