A highly successful Self-Reliance Weekend was attended by 65 cadets, who embraced the challenge of operating and living within a bivouac area on a challenging training area.
Throughout the weekend, cadets developed their basic fieldcraft skills, including living in the field, and were introduced to essential patrolling techniques. The activities encouraged teamwork, resilience, leadership and self-reliance, with cadets demonstrating an excellent level of enthusiasm and commitment throughout.
The weekend culminated in a very successful final attack, providing cadets with the opportunity to put the skills they had developed into practice as part of a challenging and rewarding final exercise.
