Four RAF CCF Cadets had their first flying experience yesterday at RAF Benson with 6 Air Experience Flight. The cadets enjoyed the opportunity to put their learning about the principles of flight and aircraft control into action. Under the watch of experienced pilots each cadet took control of the Grob Tutor to perform a sortie over South Oxfordshire, even getting the chance to see the school from above. Finally the cadets got to experience some stomach turning aerobatics. Air experience flights are an important learning experience for the RAF Cadets and after a two and a half year break due to Covid we are looking forward to getting all of the cadets up in the air.
