The U15 and U18 swim squad set off to Worcester on Friday 26 January for the annual Bromsgrove relay competition. Despite racing against swimming rivals such as Warwick school and elite sporting colleges like Loughborough College, Abingdon’s formidable swim team medalled in every event. The U15 team of Paddy, José, Monty and Luca placed 2nd in both the medley and the freestyle relay, and the U18 team of Tom, Ralph, Chung-Nam and Ethan came 3rd in the medley relay and 2nd in the freestyle. In the final of the freestyle relay, the U18 team of Ralph, Chung-Nam, José and Ethan marginally missed out on beating the Abingdon record. Well done to everyone who competed.
