So far in the Michaelmas Term, the Badminton team has had two Saturday fixtures. Both have been compelling, and Mr Allen has been really pleased with the performance of both the 1st and 2nd VIII. On the first weekend, the 1st VIII beat Wellington College 9-7, which was a great result considering two players are currently out with injuries. The second weekend saw the A and B teams take on a strong MCS side. The 1st team was able to hold them to a draw at 8-8, but unfortunately, the B team was beaten 13-3. However, the scoreline doesn’t reflect the quality of matches, with many of the games being played into the high teens. Congratulations to all players involved.
