The final week of the Easter break saw 49 Second Year pupils make their way to Plas Pencelli Outdoor Education Centre in Wales for the annual adventure trip. Under the expert guidance of the centre’s instructors, they enjoyed days of climbing, caving, canoeing, kayaking and walking in the beautiful setting of the Brecon Beacons. Getting to the top of Pen Y Fan in very wet and windy conditions was a challenge that certainly pushed everyone out of their comfort zones, while a gorge walk going under waterfalls and along the river provided a wet and exciting end to the week.
