53 First Year pupils spent the first week of the holiday at Rock UK’s Summit Centre in Wales on the annual adventure trip. As well as enjoying activities such as aerial adventure, archery, bushcraft, climbing, canoeing and crate stacking at the centre, they had a day out in the surrounding countryside following the path of a river from its source up in the mountains, down through a cave system, to a spectacular waterfall which provided a fun opportunity for a slide along the riverbed. The trip gave the pupils the chance to get to know each other better away from school, while developing their teamwork and communication skills.
