Our campus recently transformed into a vibrant hub of tradition as Lower and Middle School students celebrated Chinese New Year. Through a series of immersive workshops, students moved beyond the classroom to experience Chinese culture firsthand, fostering a deeper global perspective and making meaningful language connections. Festive decorations across the boarding houses and Lower School further amplified the celebratory atmosphere.
The week was filled with hands-on discovery: students practiced the art of calligraphy, prepared traditional dumplings to symbolise togetherness, and channeled their energy into disciplined Kung Fu sessions. Students also participated in a treasure hunt for Chinese artefacts hidden around the school, providing a practical and purposeful context to use their Chinese language skills while expanding their cultural horizons.
As we gallop into the Year of the Horse, our students are channeling the spirit of strength and ambition. We wish everyone incredible success in their studies and a year full of personal achievements!
