Co-hosted by Abingdon, the ‘careers in the creative industries’ after school event saw over 200 Year 9 to 11 students from every secondary school within the town learn more about how they can turn their creative passion into a career.
The event was designed to raise awareness and understanding of a diverse range of creative fields. Attendees chose three sessions to attend, each led by one or more volunteer professionals working in a creative field including Visual Arts, Built Environment, Heritage & Culture, Design & Communications, Media & Broadcasting, Digital Animation, Performing Arts, and Style & Fashion.
We are grateful to the 20 volunteers made up of professionals, alumni, parents, and local employers, who made the event possible.
