As a whole, I really enjoyed going on adventure training with CCF, it was really well organised with incredible activities every day ranging from a mountain scramble to a relaxed day in Blackpool at the water park and theme park. One thing that really made the trip for me was the atmosphere created by the people around me, all the staff were extremely friendly and were more than happy to get involved, and there was a good array of people across all year groups. It definitely proved to be my favourite CCF trip, I also loved being in a room with all my mates, doing the activities with them and all the Sixth Formers. Vertical Skills, with whom guided us through our activities were extremely friendly yet also gave us access to exceptional equipment which was both comfortable and kept us warm in the water. The highlight of the trip for me was either canyoning on the final day where we navigated through a canyon including 7m jumps or going to the Blackpool theme park where we all had the luxury of going on whichever rides we wanted.
