Year One has been learning about some of the great explorers in history. So far they have learnt about Captain James Cook's three voyages, and have thought very carefully about what an explorer may need to take with them to survive. Some of the boys thought a fishing rod would be a good idea, and others thought a teddy bear would be useful! The boys made their own galleons in the playground and acted out some of the battles that Captain Cook may have had.
