Year One have been continuing to learn about some of the great explorers in history. So far they have learnt about Christopher Columbus’s voyages and how they didn’t always go to plan! The boys found out that one of the boats got into difficulty and they were stranded on an island. The boys planned how to write a message in a bottle, then they wrote them on tea-stained paper. Suddenly they appeared in the swimming pool! So the boys fished them out and read each other’s messages.
