As usual, a group of very excited boys boarded a coach on Sunday 15 June to take the overnight ferry to Caen. Whilst there was a disco on the boat, it was only some of our boys that seemed to have the courage to perform what I can only think was their interpretation of a dance! Very early next morning, breakfast was eaten, a short stop off at Pegasus bridge was made and then on to a visit to a goat farm – always a great success. The farmer only speaks French but our boys are usually satisfyingly good at interpreting. The rest of the afternoon was spent on the beach and then tasting crepes with a half a glass of good old Normandy cider – delicious!
