On Friday Year 6 set off on their annual trip to Cornbury Park, staying overnight in a camp in the woods. The boys were separated into tribes, with which they remained until the following morning. During the day the boys learnt how to build their own overnight shelters, how to make a fire, which they then used to cook their own lunch on. In addition to learning these survival skills, there was time for fun and games, with the boys' favourite game being 'Predator'. Unfortunately, inclement weather meant that the overnight shelters were abandoned in favour of tents! The boys returned to school on the Saturday morning, exhausted, but having had an excellent time and this was another successful trip to the bushcraft site.
