Once again the audience went home hugely impressed and enthused by what they had seen at the Year 5 soiree. Two renditions of The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes, the first by 5L, the second by 5S, sandwiched individual musical items by Nikhil, Freddie, and Scott, and two drama pieces, the first by Freddie and Archie, the second by Alfie, Nathaniel and Deniz. The highlight, however, was the whole year group rendition of St. Frideswide, a musical and sung rendition of the life of the famous Oxford saint. Expertly written, arranged and conducted by our own Director of Music, Debbie Rose, it gave the perfect platform to allow this talented year group to showcase their singing and dramatic abilities.
