We were delighted to welcome parents of Year 5 pupils into school for our annual Soirée evening. The theme this year, ‘Diversity’, celebrated the music of our four home nations. The children performed with great passion and held the audience spellbound in their rendition of ‘The Highwayman’ poem by Alfred Noyles which the pupils have been studying during English lessons. In addition, a selection of solo artists displayed their talents beautifully across a wide range of instruments. Most of all, it was fabulous to hear the buzz of excitement in the hall as everyone enjoyed being together over a picnic supper.
