Reception were treated to a series of shadow puppet shows from Year 3. In science the Year 3 boys have been learning about light and explained to the younger boys that the puppets work because they are opaque and don't allow the light to pass through which creates the shadow. The Reception boys thoroughly enjoyed some favourite traditional tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk and The Three Little Pigs together with some original stories. Year 3 did a superb job of combining story telling and manipulating the puppets.
