Year 1 had lots of fun on their trip to Hill End. The morning activities consisted of team building activities involving getting groups of us across imaginary lava swamps using tyres and crates! We learnt that communication, listening to others and working together were the keys to success. After that we went into the woods and did a blind folded forest trail with a partner guiding us through the trail. We had to trust them to lead us over all the obstacles as well as around trees and through tunnels and netting. After our delicious packed lunches we had a play on the wooden playground equipment. We spent the afternoon exploring the forest, building dams and learning how to light a fire. We rounded our wonderful day up with toasted marshmallows, campfire songs and a story.
