It’s been a busy term for Year 1. They have loved learning about the Great Fire of London, which they recreated in Forest School by burning some miniature Tudor houses! Closer towards Christmas, and inspired by the book they’ve been reading in class, the children have written their own adventure stories and created their own books to give away as a present; they’ve also used the green screen to create Christmas calendar photos for their families.
Finally, in a bid to try and help Father Christmas deliver his presents, they created an Elf Zipline, finding that smoother materials with less friction meant the Elves could travel more quickly! Well done everyone, I’m sure that will be a real help on Christmas Eve…
