Abingdon Prep School celebrated World Book Day with a Carnival of the Animals theme. Boys came to school dressed as animals from their favourite books. To highlight but a few, there were several waist-coated Mr. Toads from Wind in the Willows, some Fantastic Mr. Foxes, a couple of Esio Trot tortoises, Puss in Boots and several of the cast of 101 Dalmatians! Overall it was an outstanding display including a celebrity guest appearance from “Ant and Duck” at our whole school assembly as the various “animal” entries came under the scrutiny of our expert judges.
